Funding provided in the Korean Government KGSP Scholarship

Aviation expenses.

Travel allowance of 200,000 won.

Living allowance for undergraduate students 800,000 won and for graduates 900,000 won.

Living allowance for master's and doctoral students 800,000 won.

Health insurance 20,000 won per month.

Tuition fees with a maximum of 5 million won per semester.

The fee for the Korean language course is 800,000 won.

Research support 210,000 - 240,000 won per semester.

A reward for mastery and excellence is 10,000 won once during the study period.


Conditions for applying for the KGSP

The applicant must not be a Korean citizen.

That the applicant and his parents hold the same nationality "The parent is not from one country and the mother is not from another country."

That the applicant enjoy good health, mentally and physically.

The applicant's age for the bachelor's stage is no more than 25 years old.

The age of the master and doctorate applicant is no more than 40 years old.

The applicant for “Bachelor” should have completed secondary school.

The applicant for “postgraduate or doctoral studies” must have a bachelor’s degree or will obtain it by the application date.

The average of the applicant in the last educational stage should not be less than 80%.

No one who has enrolled in one of the Korean government’s programs can apply for this scholarship.

But if he got an average of 90% or more, he can apply again.


How to apply for the KGSP Korean Government Scholarship:

You can only apply for the scholarships through the Korean embassy in your home country or through a participating Korean university.

However, you must submit all documents related to your scholarship application to the Korean embassy in your country of residence or the local university concerned.
